Kim Fields Brought “Fierceness” To Dancing With The Stars Debut

Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars kicked off with a bang Monday night, thanks to Kim Fields.

She may have been more reserved this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (well, at least until she schooled us all in reading during Part 1 of the Season 8 reunion Sunday), but apparently all she needed was to get on a dance floor to let loose.

Kim looked red-hot on DWTS dancing the cha cha to “Sax” by Fleur East with partner Sasha Farber, not only because of her sultry moves but also because of her gorgeous sparkly red-fringed minidress.

Kim looked so sassy and fun, it was impossible not to enjoy her performance, which you can check out in the video, above.

DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba couldn’t agree more. “What I see in you is a whole lot of fierceness in a little, tiny package,” she told Kim after her performance. “You have this incredible charisma, like you came out as bright as your costume. You’re just like a firecracker, and I love that.”

Carrie and her fellow judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli all loved Kim’s routine, but they did suggest that she work on her footwork, hip motion, and pace in the future. Overall, the judges gave Kim a 20 out of 30 for her first score in the competition.

Kim also had two of her biggest fans cheering her on from the audience: her husband Christopher Morgan and eldest son Sebastian.

Kim gave us a peek behind-the-scenes of DWTS on Instagram before and after her performance.
