    Hi Kandi,

    I first of all want to praise you on all your success! it’s so great to see an AA female push beyond her dreams and make the imposible possible.  You have blossomed into a fabulous woamn.  I can’t put a title on you because you have so many.
     I  am unsure if you will even have time to read this, but I am going to try this once more.  I am a vocalist and want to break into the industry and have wanted to for sometime.  I have auditioned for Gospel Idol in 06 and Sunday’s Best om 2010.
    I didn’t do my best.  I didn’t bring it and I know I have what it takes.  I know that if you can help others who were vocally challenged you can definetly assist me.  I have been going through alot the pass year and I am trying so hard to hold on.  I went through a depression stage for awhile because I was dealing with so much and I am not happy.  My passion has always been music, however I don’t know how to get what I want and make it transpire.  I don’t know anyone in the industry.  I am related to someone, but they may not know I exist I want to make it because of what I can do.  I am not a user.  I was born to be a winner and to uplift others by making  DIFFERENCE and that’s all I want to do.    When I was a little girl I wrote to Whitney,  I have written to Oprah and even Tyler Perry and while I know they are all busy I was hoping and praying somehow, someway I would get through.  I am crying out for help!  I NEED this opportunity to sing!  I am not some space cadet who can’t hear she’s off pitch or who can’t stay on pitch.  I can always improve and always leave room for improvement, but I want to be one of the Best!  I want to be able to stand next to you.  To me that’s better than any Oscar or Academy award. Lord, I am in need of a serious Breakthrough!
    I drug my feet when it came to asking someone for help again with the fear of rejection and humiliation.  I have always been the giver and not the reciever.  I don’t know how it feels to be the reciever.  Please give me a chance. tlakes50@bellsouth.net

    I saw you show tonight, I knew you have a great voice, but I never knew how much other talent you have. You are truly a blessed and amazing person. Maybe you could take one week out the month to help a younger talent who could use your skills and wisdom to help them achieve their dreams? Like the ones who have raw talent but cant afford  a vocal coach to help them achieve their goal. It would also give them an idea of what they are getting into music wise. My daughter is a young power house. She has been blessed with a voice that the world needs to hear, but she needs more knowledge about vocal control and the music business. Somthing you can do all in one week!!
    Kandi for Kidz Night. If not can you tell me what I can do to help her out? She’s been in talent shows and musicals, but I havent been able to afford to get her any professional help.

    Hey Kandi,
    I enjoyed your new show and I liked the fact that you chose prospective cast based on thier struggles and challanges. I think the show would come off better if the people could really sing…it would be amazing to see how a show could turn the life around for a hardworking dedicated mother (for example) who pushed her talents aside to handle her business and then to be given this amazing opportunity to have a respected platform & second chance at fufilling something she only imagined….i’m not feeling watching someone who can’t sing at all…I really believe that your audiene would expand and your show would grow.On another note, I love how ambitious and encouraging you are!!

    I just saw your new show Ms. Kandi, and I want to say you really have a talent for making ordinary people into superstars. I notice with all the computer help, being a performer now days seems to out way (in some aspects) a good singer that has to develope their performer side. This just shows you are truly oustanding at what you do, best in your future endeavors, Ms. Next Clive Davis!

Girl she’s five months there all six years apart boys father was with him ten with this one four I’m single.
